WIE ZIJN WIJ
SAVE is een collectief van sekswerkers en ex-sekswerkers met een diversiteit in werkvorm,  gender, seksuele oriëntatie, levensstijl, verblijfsstatus en leeftijd.

HOE BEGON HET
SAVE (Sex workers against violence & exploitation) begon als een campagne om informatie te delen over de WRS (het wetsvoorstel Wet Regulering Sekswerk) en de schade van criminalisering te verminderen met als motto “don’t save us, save our jobs!”

ONZE VISIE
SAVE heeft een wereld voor ogen waarin sekswerk wordt erkend als werk; waar iedere sekswerker wordt gerespecteerd en rechten heeft; waarin gender, raciale, sociale en economische gelijkheid heerst en waar vrijheid van beweging is zodat iedereen kan starten, doorgaan of stoppen met sekswerk zonder geweld of dwang.

ONS DOEL
Wij hebben ons als doel gesteld om acceptatie van seksuele vrijheid en diversiteit tot stand te brengen door een genuanceerd beeld neer te zetten van mensen werkzaam in de seksindustrie.
In het algemeen willen we volledige decrimialsering van sekswerkers inclusief migranten sekswerkers. We willen geweld tegen en exploitatie van sekswerkers bestrijden door het delen van belangrijke harmreductieinformatie met andere sekswerkers en door ons uit te spreken tegen het hoerenstigma. In het bijzonder strijden we tegen de WRS door het informeren van andere sekswerkers, politici en het algemene publiek hoe schadelijk die WRS is. Wij werken regelmatig samen met andere lokale en nationale sekswerkerscollectieven en met onze bondgenoten.

WHO ARE WE
SAVE is a collective of (ex) sex workers regardless of type of work, gender, sexual orientation, lifestyle, legal status or age.

HOW DID IT START
SAVE (Sex workers against violence & exploitation) started as a campaign to share information about the WRS and the harms of criminalization under the motto “don’t save us, save our jobs!”

OUR VISION
SAVE’s vision is of a world where sex work is recognized as work; where all sex workers are respected and their rights are upheld, regardless of gender, race, social and economic status, (dis)ability, age, migrant status, and sexuality. We strive for a world where individuals are able to start, continue, or leave sex work safely and free from violence and coercion.

OUR GOAL
We aim to bring about acceptance of sexual freedom and diversity by presenting a nuanced picture of people working in the sex industry.  In general we aim for  full decriminalization of sex workers, including migrants. We want to combat violence towards and exploitation of sex workers by sharing valuable harm-reduction information with other sex workers and speaking out against whore stigma. We specifically aim to fight against the WRS  by informing other sex workers, politicians and the general public about the WRS and its repercussions. We regularly collaborate with other local and national sex worker collectives and with our allies.
